Upcountry drive…It’s almost June…is there still snow?

Here in California, we have been in a drought for a few years.  This year that was all corrected by a very wet winter.  And, it just doesn’t want to stop!  We headed to the ocean before the holiday weekend, to avoid the crowds.  So, that left us with time to head up to the mountains and see what’s going on.  Snow.  That’s what’s going on.  Lots and lots of it!!  It’s beautiful.  Yes.  But, this girl is ready for summer!  Bring on the Sun!

I was taking this photo and hubby says, “look at that waterfall!”.  I couldn’t see it.  He pointed it out.  What an eye!!  See below and look for my arrow.

I pulled out my telephoto lense, and this is the same shot.  Wow.  How cool is that.  Wish I could have been up close and personal.

At some point….this has to melt.  Right?
